Hispanotech Content Creator
Job Description
Produce entertaining or educational material and are responsible for the contribution of information to any media, to engage new and existing members or the general audience in Hispanotech’s brand. They create both digital media and offline content that caters to the interests of a target audience.
A Content Creator’s various tasks include writing articles for Hispanotech’s web pages, videos, and social media posts. He/she should also be adept at promoting content on social media. To be a successful Content Creator, one should be familiar with digital publishing and generating traffic and leads for new businesses.
Being a Content Creator, one would need to have the ability to blend his/her Hispanotech’s content guidelines with creativity. Having a unique voice and personality is an important and distinguishable asset.
As a Content Creator, one needs to have a sense of curiosity to identify problems worth solving. The insights that come from this inherent curiosity make great content.
Roles and Responsibilities
Use Hispanotech’s image and video repositories to create new content.

Edit and produce video content for other volunteers to use.

Create various content types (videos, articles, infographics) with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective style guides.

Target content to specific audiences and focus on trending topics of Hispanotech.

Incorporate blog and social media posts in both websites and social media platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube or Instagram.

Conduct keyword research and employ SEO best practices to optimize content.

Utilize various digital publishing platforms to create structured drafts.

Work with our volunteers to analyze web traffic to measure the success of the content (e.g., conversion and bounce rates).

Research on industry-related topics.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field
Proficiency in video and audio editing software
Experience uploading content to various content management systems such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, Shopify, Wix, XSitePro, etc.

Volunteer Support
Location: Remote
Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per week (flexible)
Duration: Minimum 6-month commitment preferred
Purpose of the Role
As a Volunteer Support, you will play an important role in helping build and grow our volunteer community at Hispanotech. Working closely with the Volunteer Coordinator, you will support the recruitment and onboarding of new volunteers—helping them feel welcome, informed, and excited to join our mission.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with people, is detail-oriented, and wants to get involved in volunteer coordination, HR processes, or community building.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with posting volunteer opportunities on our platform.
Review incoming volunteer applications and share summaries with the Volunteer Coordinator
Schedule interviews with prospective volunteers
Support onboarding activities, including:
Collecting background checks and required documents.
Coordinating IT access (email, Google Suite, Slack, etc.)
Requesting and collecting profile photos
Tracking the onboarding progress using internal tools

Send onboarding materials and follow up on completion
Help manage and update volunteer records in Google Suite
Provide a warm, welcoming presence to new volunteers and answer basic questions
Suggest improvements to the onboarding experience based on feedback
Preferred Skills & Qualities

Organized and reliable, with attention to detail.
Comfortable working independently and using tools like Google Drive, Gmail, and Slack.
