    On May 31st, June 21st, and July 26th we hosted our monthly Happy Friday Networking Events.

    Huge thanks to our partners and volunteers from LPMN - Latin Project Management Network and from ALPFA Toronto for their support and this alliance with Hispanotech .ca to empower professionals in Toronto/GTA.

    On July 19th, Hispanotech .ca was invited to present at ACCES Employment's Engineering Connections Bridging Program, focusing on The Art of Networking.

    We were honoured to share the floor with Celia Huang, PhD from Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC)'s PINs Program, and Jaime Gonzalez, PMP, CBAP, CSM from LPMN - Latin Project Management Network

    Thanks Claudia Valcarcel for the opportunity to meet this cohort of amazing and courageous professionals that have chosen to make Canada their new home.

    Hispanotech .ca was thrilled to participate in York University's graduation ceremony for their York University Internationally Educated Professionals Bridging Programs IT & Business (IEP) Bridging Certificate Program.

    Heartfelt thanks to Monica Anne Brennan and Art Noordeh, PhD, for inviting us to share this happy moment with 68 newcomer graduates and their families, marking a great step forward in achieving professional success in Canada. Congratulations!

    On July 11th, we hosted our Volunteer Appreciation event. Thank you to everyone who attended!

    hispanotech.ca is a 100% volunteer-run organization, and our activities and services are only possible thanks to the commitment and dedication of our Volunteers.

    We had a wonderful time getting to know each other better, and some friends from our partners LPMN - Latin Project Management Network and ALPFA Toronto joined in the fun. The evening was full of anecdotes, smiles, and insightful conversations.

    The Board of Directors Carlos E. Paz-Soldan, Raquel Insa, MBA., Galo Ginocchio, and Citlalli Rios, CSPO®, would like to thank each volunteer who helps us fulfill our mission. ¡Muchas Gracias!

    On June 24th, Hispanotech .ca joined our friends from KPMG Canada's Latin American Network in an evening of connections, music, and delicious food.

    Thank you for putting this together, Valeria Cardozo Noriega, CPA and team. It was an engaging event, including the keynote by Arnon Melo.

    We enjoyed seeing our community together again and finding new ways to collaborate and accomplish our common goals.

    On June 20th Hispanotech .ca was invited to moderate Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC)'s event on "Employment and Settlement Programs and Services for Newcomers in GTA".

    The panel featured Arcelia Camacho from ACCES Employment and Kristin Schwartz from CultureLink Settlement and Community Services, and was moderated by Carlos E. Paz-Soldan, President of Hispanotech .ca. Attendees gained valuable insights into employment, settlement programs and services in the GTA. This was an excellent opportunity to discover support available in finding work in the right field, navigating day-to-day life in Canada and more.

    It is a great feeling to be part of an ecosystem whose mission is to foster the success of immigrants and refugees in Canada! Thank you Sathya Gnaniah and Celia Huang, PhD

    On June 13th, Hispanotech .ca joined Viviana Santibanez for the fundraising gala "A Night To Shine" to celebrate VIVIR LGBTQ+ 5th Anniversary at the Centre for Social Innovation (CSI).

    This was an unforgettable evening with community leaders, Latin American Consulates, media, and business representatives, enjoying great food, drinks, awards and entertainment.

    Congratulations on this milestone and all your achievements so far! We applaud Vivi'r's commitment to inclusion, empowerment, and community support, serving LGBTQ+ refugees and newcomers to Canada.

    On June 4th, hispanotech.ca was present at the Ontario 2024 Career Fair, organized by Women in AI Canada. This event provided a platform for employers and potential candidates to connect and explore exciting career opportunities.

    Attendees had the unique opportunity to engage in insightful conversations, learn about diverse company cultures, and discover various paths for growth and development. It was a day filled with networking, professional development, and opportunities to showcase skills, experiences, and passion to leading industry professionals.

    We are committed to supporting events that foster meaningful connections between talented individuals and top employers.
